About the event
Workshop topics will cover various gardening topics.
Doug Mandel, Ghost Pine Native Plant Nursery President, will present two topics:
"Basic Rainwater Harvesting - keeping rainwater on site"
"Hügelkultur - an alternative to burning brush piles"
The workshops will have three sessions of classes that last about 40 minutes each, and participants will be able to select topics for each session. There is a $5 charge to cover materials . There will be on-site soil analysis for soil samples.
