Toyon, Heteromeles arbutifolia

Looks great all 4 seasons – large clusters of flowers in spring/summer, gorgeous red berries in fall/winter, and attractive foliage throughout the year. Hollywood was named after Toyon, because this "holly" covered the hillsides.
