Shasta Environmental Alliance is hosting another free Earth Day Festival at Caldwell Park on Saturday, April 19, from 11 AM to 4 PM. This year’s theme, “Our Power, Our Planet,” highlights the importance of renewable energy and the power of collective action for our environment. Learn more about this theme at earthday.org.
Ghost Pine Native Plant Nursery will have a booth at the festival. We will explain the importance of planting native plants as a way to decrease the reliance on natural resources and steward a more sustainable climate.
