About the event

Water is a critical natural resource. Doug Mandel, Shasta Master Gardener and founder of the educational nonprofit Ghost Pine Native Nursery, will discuss the basics of rainwater harvesting, concentrating on creating rain gardens to support your garden ecosystem. Doug will also discuss berms and swales, dry creek beds, terraces, and rainwater catchment storage. The goal is a better understanding of rainwater on your site and how to apply it to your home landscape.

There is a small Turtle Bay fee when you register online or at the door.
